So I learned a lot about 3D sculpting this semester, but was so busy creating these sculpts that I didn’t get the chance to post them. All of these projects are based on the 2D designs of other fantastic artists. The first one you probably recognize. It is a 3D sculpt based on Disney’s Pocahontas.
This next sculpt is a 3D lizard based on Boris Kiselicki’s lovely concept art. Click the link to check out his art!
And this adorable creature is based on Sam Nielson’s concept art. Click on the link to check out his art!
Sorry again for waiting forever to post. I’ve just been so busy lately, but that means I have more to show to make up for it over the next few days! First things first.
A while ago in my animation II class we were given 3 key-frames of Ratcliffe from Pocahontas and had to make the in betweens. I know it is a short clip on repeat, but let me just say that fine-tuning the line art took forever. I spent 9 hours in the labs one Sunday and that was just a portion of the time I’ve put into this piece. Call me crazy, but I loved doing it all the same.
